From 2-5 September, 2018, the Bishkek Business Club team took part in the largest event of this year, the World Nomad Games-2018.

Within the framework of the NICE-TAK project (Networking Intermediaries and Competitive Enterprises in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan) project, funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, Bishkek Business Club supported the participation of the Craft Council of Kyrgyzstan at the World Nomad Games-2018.

Thanks to the project, artisans were able to show their works on the ethnobazar, which took place in the Kyrchyn gorge.

NICE-TAK (Networking Intermediaries and Competitive Enterprises in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan) is implemented by an international consortium consisting of: CESVI (Italy), Bishkek Business Club (BBC), National Association of Business Women of Tajikistan (NABWT), National Association of Small and Medium Business, Tajikistan (NASMB), and the Union of Craftsmen of Tajikistan (UCT). The consortium is heading by the non-governmental organization sequa gGmbH (Germany).

The overall objective of the project is to promote small and medium-sized businesses in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, with a special emphasis on the development of the craft sector. This goal will be achieved through capacity building and supporting of Tajik and Kyrgyz intermediary organizations in the craft sector.
